5. Scope of Professional Services

  • 1-to-1 training sessions

  • Group classes

  • Workshops

  • Online consultations

  • Digital training resources

All services are tailored to the individual dog and client, based on information provided at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to decline cases outside our professional competence.


6. Consumer Contracts & Cooling-Off Period
If services are booked online or at a distance, you may have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
However:

  • If you request that services begin within the 14-day period, you waive your right to cancel once the service has been fully delivered.

  • If partial services are delivered within the cooling-off period, you may be liable for payment proportionate to services already provided.

7. Bookings, Fees & Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit or full payment is required to secure booking.

  • Payment plans must be agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may result in suspension of services.

  • Fees are non-transferable between clients or dogs without written consent.

Prices reflect professional expertise, preparation time, travel (where applicable), resources and follow-up support.


8. Programme Validity & Expiry
To protect behavioural continuity:

  • Single sessions must be used within 3 months of purchase.

  • Behaviour or training packages must be completed within 6 months.

  • Extensions are granted only at our discretion.

  • Unused sessions after expiry are forfeited.

9. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Minimum 48 hours’ notice required.

  • Late cancellations may be charged in full.

  • Repeated cancellations may result in termination of services.

We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to:

  • Illness

  • Unsafe environmental conditions

  • Extreme weather

  • Emergencies

10. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Dog behaviour is influenced by:

  • Genetics

  • Early socialisation

  • Environment

  • Health

  • Owner consistency

  • Household dynamics

While we provide professional expertise and structured guidance:

  • No guarantee is made regarding specific results

  • Behaviour change requires consistent implementation

  • Regression can occur if guidance is not maintained

11. Full Disclosure Requirement
Clients must disclose:

  • Bite history (human or animal)

  • Near misses

  • Resource guarding

  • Aggression triggers

  • Previous behavioural interventions

  • Legal orders or investigations

  • Ongoing disputes involving the dog

  • Medical diagnoses

  • Pain-related behaviours

Failure to disclose relevant history may result in:

  • Immediate termination of services

  • No refund

  • Withdrawal of professional support

 

12. Aggression & Bite-Risk Clause
Where a dog presents with aggressive or high-risk behaviour:

  • Safety protocols must be followed (lead control, muzzle use, management plans).

  • Owners remain legally responsible under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and related legislation.

  • We may require veterinary, behavioural medicine, or specialist referral.

We are not liable for:

  • Bites

  • Injuries

  • Property damage

  • Legal consequences

except where directly caused by proven negligence.


13. Owner Responsibility & Legal Liability
At all times:

  • The dog remains the legal responsibility of the owner.

  • Dogs must remain under appropriate control.

  • Children must be supervised.

  • The training environment must be safe.

For home visits, clients must ensure:

  • The environment is secure

  • Other animals are appropriately managed

  • Hazards are removed

14. Health & Veterinary Responsibility
Clients confirm:

  • The dog is fit for training.

  • Vaccinations or titre testing are up to date (where relevant).

  • Any medical concerns have been disclosed.

We may pause training pending veterinary assessment where pain or medical issues are suspected.
Training does not replace veterinary care.


15. Limitation of Liability
We maintain appropriate public liability insurance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss.

  • Liability is limited to the total value of services purchased.

  • We are not responsible for behavioural regression after programme completion.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

16. Media & Marketing Use

During sessions, photographs and video recordings may be captured for training, educational, and marketing purposes.

Unless the owner notifies us in writing that they do not consent, Super Pooch Dog Behaviour & Training reserves the right to use any images or video footage captured during training sessions for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Our website

  • Social media platforms

  • Printed marketing materials

  • Educational content

  • Promotional campaigns

If you do not wish images or video of you or your dog to be used for marketing purposes, you must inform us in writing prior to or at the time of your session.

We will always aim to present clients and dogs respectfully and professionally.


17. Online Sessions & Remote Consultations
For remote sessions:

  • Stable internet connection is the client’s responsibility.

  • We are not liable for technical interruptions outside our control.

  • Advice is based on information and footage provided.

18. Digital Content & Course Access
Where digital content is provided:

  • Access is licensed, not sold.

  • Login details must not be shared.

  • Recording, distribution or resale is prohibited.

  • Access may be revoked if misuse occurs.

19. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services immediately where:

  • Safety protocols are ignored

  • Aggression history was withheld

  • Payment terms are breached

  • Behaviour towards us is abusive or inappropriate

No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.


20. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including:

  • Extreme weather

  • Illness

  • Government restrictions

  • Natural disasters

  • Venue closure

21. Complaints Procedure

22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
